Secure client document exchange for accountants & tax advisors

Financial documents don't belong in email attachments

Annual accounts, payroll runs, tax filings, bank statements - your day runs on documents your clients would never want exposed. GCN.ONE lets you exchange them encrypted end-to-end, with a signed delivery certificate when it matters that a filing or a report demonstrably reached its recipient on time.

The inbox is the weakest link in your workflow

A client's complete financial life regularly sits in plain email attachments: readable in transit, forwarded by accident, sitting forever in mailboxes nobody controls. One mis-addressed email is a reportable data incident.

And when a submission deadline is disputed, an email timestamp from your own outbox is thin evidence. You need delivery you can prove, not just sending you can claim.

How it fits your workflow
1
Send encrypted, straight from the browser
Drag in the documents, address the client - everything is encrypted locally before upload. No client software to install, nothing for your client to configure.
2
Clients receive and return documents securely
Clients open a secure link - no account needed. You're notified when documents are opened and downloaded, so "did you get it?" phone calls disappear.
3
Keep proof for the file
For deadline-critical deliveries, request a signed delivery certificate - a timestamped, independently verifiable record that the documents were delivered.
Built for a practice's document flow
Client data stays sealed
End-to-end encryption in the browser: we can't read the files, the filenames or the message - and neither can anyone who breaches us.
Deliveries you can prove
Signed, timestamped certificates for transfers that must survive a dispute - year-end filings, contested invoices, termination documents.
Send to many clients at once
Distribute documents to large recipient lists in one operation - account holders can bulk-send to hundreds of recipients - each one individually encrypted.
Ongoing exchange, not just one-offs
Shares provide longer-lived encrypted spaces with version history and member roles - a private channel per client engagement, with the same zero-knowledge guarantees.
Proof of delivery for deadline work

When you deliver a filing, a report, or a notice with legal or financial consequences, the delivery certificate records what was delivered, to whom, and exactly when - signed cryptographically, so its authenticity can be verified by anyone at our public Verify page.

Behind it sits a tamper-evident audit log that is publicly anchored, so the record cannot be silently altered after the fact. It's the difference between asserting you sent something and being able to show it.

GDPR without the retrofit

EU infrastructure, EU jurisdiction, built to GDPR standards from the start. Automatic expiry and permanent deletion put data minimisation into the workflow itself, and because we never hold readable client data, your exposure through us as a processor is structurally minimal.

Frequently asked questions

No. Clients receive a secure link and open it in their browser. Decryption happens locally on their machine - no installation, no registration for receiving.

Yes - that is exactly what the delivery certificate is for. It records the delivery time with a cryptographic signature that anyone can verify independently at our public Verify page.

You can, but Shares are usually better for recurring work: a longer-lived encrypted space per client with version history and controlled membership, so the monthly exchange has a permanent, private home.

A single registered letter costs several euros and takes days. A GCN.ONE subscription includes hundreds of transfers a month for roughly the price of a handful of registered letters - per delivery, a small fraction of the cost - and one-off pay-per-transfer sending is available with no subscription at all. See the pricing page for current plans.
