Secure document sharing for startups and founders

Send the deck. Keep the idea.

You have sent your deck to twenty investors. Three replied. You do not know whether the others opened it, forwarded it to an operating partner, or filed it next to your competitor's. GCN.ONE encrypts the deck in your browser before it is uploaded, so only the investor you named can open it - and you see the moment each one does.

A forwarded deck is a deck you no longer control

An attachment is a copy. Once it is in an inbox it can be forwarded, saved to a shared drive, or read by whoever later gets into that mailbox - and none of that shows up anywhere you can see. For a company whose main asset is what it knows, that is a real exposure rather than a theoretical one.

Sharing a link from a consumer cloud drive is not much better: anyone holding the link can open it, the link usually outlives the conversation, and you learn nothing about who used it. Those services were built for convenience, never for confidentiality.

How a raise works with GCN.ONE
1
Send the deck to a named investor
Drop in the deck, name the recipient, set when it expires. Your browser encrypts everything locally, so what reaches our servers is ciphertext we cannot read.
2
Only that investor can open it
The deck opens in their browser, with no account needed on their side. If a link ends up somewhere it should not, one click cuts it off for that recipient, immediately.
3
You see who actually read it
You are notified the moment the deck is opened and downloaded. Follow up with the investors who read it, not the ones who never got past the subject line.
Built for a raise
Sent to a person, not an address
Each investor gets their own share. Forwarding the link does not pass on access, and you can see which of them has opened it.
You know who is actually interested
Opens and downloads are timestamped. A fund that read the deck twice in a week is a different conversation from one that never opened it.
Revoke when the conversation ends
A pass is a pass. Cut off that investor's access in one click, and let everything expire automatically at the end of the round.
We cannot read it either
Encryption happens in your browser and the keys never reach us. There is no master key and no support override, so your numbers are not readable on our side.
The delivery record, in plain terms

Every open and every download is recorded with a timestamp, and for any document that was actually downloaded you can issue a delivery certificate: a cryptographically signed record of what was delivered, to whom, and when. Anyone can verify it at our public Verify page, without a GCN.ONE account.

During a raise this matters less as evidence and more as information. It tells you where the interest is while you still have time to act on it.

What we can and cannot see

We cannot read your deck, your financials or your cap table, and that is structural rather than a policy. What our servers do see is metadata: who sent what to whom, when, and how large it was. All infrastructure runs in the European Union under EU jurisdiction and is built to GDPR standards.

Frequently asked questions

Not quite. Deck-tracking tools tell you which slides someone looked at, and to do that they have to be able to read your deck. GCN.ONE tells you who opened and downloaded it, lets you cut off a link the moment a conversation ends, and stores nothing readable anywhere, including with us. You give up per-slide analytics and get confidentiality in exchange.

No. They open the link in their browser and the deck is decrypted there. You need a free account to send; they need nothing.

Yes. Revoke that share and their link stops working immediately. Anything they downloaded beforehand is already on their machine and no service can change that, but nothing new opens.

Add the new version to the same share. Investors who still have access see the current version without you re-sending anything, and the record shows who downloaded which version and when.
